Hi, I’m Becca
I’m the photographer, designer and creative director behind Candid Studio.
Before starting Candid Studio, I spent 16+ years working in design, marketing and creative direction, helping brands communicate visually through photography, design and storytelling.
Over time I realised that many small businesses face the same challenge: they care deeply about the work they do, but their branding and imagery don’t always reflect that.
Candid Studio was created to help bridge that gap.

Candid Studio brings together brand photography, design and creative direction to help small businesses present themselves clearly and confidently.
Some projects focus on photography, capturing natural images of the people, products or services behind a business. Others focus on visual identity – refining branding so everything feels more cohesive across websites, social media and marketing materials.
Often it’s a combination of both.
The aim is always the same: creating visuals that feel natural, professional and genuinely connected to the work behind the business.

A little about me
Outside of Candid Studio, I also run Rebecca Lloyd Photography, where I photograph colourful, documentary-style weddings. I also work as a Creative Director for a paid media marketing agency, and support many familiar brands with their creative direction and marketing materials. I even worked for a household name brand for 9 years, and have worked as a freelancer for most of my career.
Capturing real people and genuine moments at weddings, and working in a fast-paced environment in marketing naturally influences how I approach brand photography too.
I’ve always been drawn to creative work that feels honest, natural and full of personality.
